For Candy, perfumer Daniela Andrier had dared to marry for the first time in consumer perfumery elegant and powdery notes a tad retro with powerful vanilla, caramelized forces punctuated by an equally seductive heliotrope. Candy therefore offered the “Prada” fashionable delicacies, all in sophistication and contrasts.
For Candy Night, some of its olfactory facets will be preserved while others, such as the pretty powdery iris accord, will disappear in favor of new, more spring-like floral notes.
However Candy Night sets off from the start with invigorating and candied orange notes. Then the peony and the orange blossom bring their absolute and opulent femininity in place of the iris. The Guerlain house is one of the oldest and most prestigious perfume brands. Created in 1828 by Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain, Guerlain perfumery has evolved over the years and adapted to different fashions. Guerlain has established itself as the official perfumer of many European courts, and the brand has created fragrances for the Tsar of Russia, Queen Victoria and even the Empress Eugenie. The Guerlain brand is at the origin of many olfactory successes such as Jicky, Samsara, Shalimar, L’Heure Bleue and La Petite Robe Noire. In 1999, Guerlain imagined a sublime collection based on natural ingredients, Aqua Allegoria.

Since precious colognes that was preparing in his shop the founder of Guerlain, Pierre Francois Pascal Guerlain, in the early 19 ^th century to the creation of the first oriental fragrance of history, Shalimar, Guerlain had of ceasing to travel the world in search of the most precious olfactory raw materials. Jean-Paul Guerlain tout d’abord, puis Thierry Wasser par la suite, avait déjà créé avec Aqua Allegoria Cherry Blossom un magnifique tableau olfactif de cette période bénie du Japon, sakura hanami, littéralement « regarder les fleurs » de sakura, les cerisiers en fleurs.

En revanche pour Cherry Blossom, il s’agissait de mettre en avant ces fleurs délicates à travers des notes aqueuses et végétales de thé vert, une douce cerise mariée aux fleurs et des profondeurs poudrées qui baignerait le parfum de douceur.

Pour Aqua Allegoria Flora Cherrysia, l’inspiration des cerisiers en fleurs japonais est la même certes, cependant le départ de poire nashi offre un visage gourmand et sucré particulièrement puissant qui, marié aux notes de bergamote, offre un départ dynamique à l’efficacité évidente. Les fleurs de cerisier du cœur viennent apporter leur délicatesse à l’ensemble alors que les profondeurs de muscs blancs se font velours boisé aussi tendres qu’intenses.
